Do I need a card to start the trial?+
No. You get 14 days free with no card. If you want to carry on, pick a plan – otherwise it simply stops.
Which trades is ProofJob for?+
Any UK trade that needs to prove its work: builders, plumbers, heating and gas engineers, electricians, roofers, plasterers, decorators, joiners, tilers, kitchen and bathroom fitters, landscapers, window and door fitters, damp and insulation specialists, solar and EV installers, drainage engineers, cleaners and handymen. Pick your trade when you sign up and ProofJob sets up the right tags, stages and job templates.
Can I produce a condition survey or compliance pack?+
Yes. Each job can be shared as a standard photo report, a condition survey report, a compliance evidence pack (certificates, readings and covered-up work first) or an end-of-tenancy report.
Do my customers need an app?+
No. They open a private link in any browser and can print it or save it as a PDF.
Does it work without signal?+
Yes. Photos you take with no signal are saved on your phone and upload automatically once you're back online.
Can my customer sign off work?+
Yes. Add stages to a job and your customer signs each one off from their report link. Their name and the time are recorded, and the photos up to that point are locked.
Can photos be edited or faked?+
Every original photo gets a SHA-256 fingerprint when it's uploaded, and you can check it any time. Markup is saved as a separate copy, so the original is never changed.
Does it work with Xero?+
Yes. Connect your Xero organisation and send a job or an approved variation to Xero as a draft invoice. ProofJob matches or creates the customer contact, uses 20% VAT by default, and attaches the photo report as a PDF. You check and approve the invoice in Xero as normal.
Is it per user?+
No per-seat maths. Each plan is one flat monthly price in pounds that covers a set number of users. Prices are ex VAT.
Who can see my photos?+
Only people in your company account. Photos are private by default and are only shown to a customer through a share link you choose to turn on – and can turn off.
Is it an app or a website?+
Both. It works in any phone browser today, and ProofJob apps for iPhone and Android are on the way.
Can I cancel any time?+
Yes. Monthly plans, no contract. Cancel from the billing page whenever you like.
What about GDPR?+
ProofJob collects only what it needs to run your account, photos are private by default, and you control every share link. If you need anything removed, ask and we'll sort it.
